Reporting bugs

Since this section is becoming full of useless spam, I will make a basic guide about how to successfully report a bug:


For bugs that makes your client crash (crash doesn't mean DC):
  1. Explain what you were doing when your client crashed.
  2. Make sure you wasn't running another program that affects the SRO_Client in any way.
  3. Attach the last .dmp file generated on the "Dump" folder on the thread (you can find the Dump folder on the EliteSilkroad folder).

For bugs that makes your char DC (Disconnected from the Server window):
  1. Explain what you were doing when you got DC.
  2. Before report the bug, try again to do the same for confirm it wasn't just a casual bug.
  3. Check your internet connection, and also check that it doesn't happen with other accounts.

For unstuck your character:

For everyone who got his character bugged, this mean, instant DC when they spawn in the world (like on the Hotan Palace walls, underground, or in any Fortress), make a picture of your character and the DC window (just how it appear when you login your character). We are making a system for unbug those characters, we will be able to unbug them in 2/3 days.


For report a bug with any feature of the game
  1. Make as many pictures as possible.
  2. Explain how the bug happened.
  3. Do not exploit it, report it ASAP!.
